A Snapshot of Your Day

Our Service Center Supervisor is responsible for 10-20 mechanics and machinist that perform disassembly, cleaning, inspection, recording of as found conditions, and the reassembly of rotating equipment. Work to ensure that all projects are completed safely, correctly and meet or beat customer expectations.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Work safely, responsible for following of all safe work practices, SIEMENS-ENERGY safety and quality policies and procedures during normal daily operations.  
  • Use basic problem-solving skills in terms of gathering facts, analyzing the cause, and selecting the best most accurate solution for our clients Write the inspection of Rotating Machinery including parts list and recommendations for repair proposals. 
  • Communication effectively to foster an environment of continuous improvement, customer satisfaction and operational excellence for all members of the mechanical shop team.

What You Bring

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 5+ years of experience with rotating equipment including steam turbines, centrifugal compressor, reciprocating compressor or engines, or accredited trade school graduate.
  • Knowledge of the accurate collection and recording of technical inspection data
  • Proficient use of common Precision Measuring Instruments (micrometers, gauges, etc.)
  • Knowledge of blueprint/blueprint reading, and general tolerances is required, must be able to solve assembly and set-up problems with minimal technical supervision.
  • Self-motivated, willing to learn and be a team player
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
