That’s why we offer a world-class Graduate Program to help you reach your potential quickly. Learn from top-tier mentors, take advantage of training – and grow your career in any direction.

What You Can Expect

Over the course of two years, you’ll get hands-on experience, be actively integrated into the day-to-day activities of your teams, and gain a deep understanding of Siemens Energy. You'll rapidly build in-depth knowledge, discover solutions, and experience our business first-hand.

From day one, you will work on challenging projects with three individually-designed assignments, including one eight-month assignment abroad (Covid permitting).

You will be assigned a mentor and will shadow a role or position to support you in reaching your individual career goals and network with peers and business leaders. You’ll also have access to the resources to help you grow.

Your role within the Company will evolve over the two year rotation process. Each step will increase responsibility, exposure to direct management, customer interaction, and managing the financial aspect of the business.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • As part of our Graduate Program, you are on the Siemens Energy team. You’ll share our purpose in energizing society by supporting customers with transitioning to a more sustainable world and will work on real global issues, creating solutions that directly make an impact.
  • You will assist in the day to day operations and growth of a rapidly changing market in Offshore Wind, HVDC and the transition to a renewable market.

What You Bring

  • A strong capacity to make educated decisions, implement ideas, and identify opportunities.
  • Significant practical work experience up to 36 months including knowledge from internships, working student activities or employment is required.
  • A master's degree, doctoral degree, or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 months of international experience gained through studying or working is required.
  • Excellent English acumen to work in a multi-cultural environment and be flexible and mobile during the program.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
  • As a federal contractor, Siemens Energy continues to monitor federal and state legal guidelines regarding the COVID-19 vaccine mandate.   Siemens Energy is pausing its mandatory vaccine policy while the issue is addressed by the courts. SEI will monitor the situation closely and may reimplement its policy if required to comply with federal law.  Should the vaccine policy be reimplemented, this position requires employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 unless they are granted a medical or religious accommodation.
