Position summary

e for crafting engaging designs, creating iterative concepts and interactive prototypes, and building user-centric digital experiences for our web presence that align with our brand identity and marketing objectives. You'll develop systems for continued growth, and lead data- driven iteration. In this role you will support research and journey mapping to improve the snowflake web experience for its global corporate website and related web properties through web best practices, ux strategy and, qualitative and qualitative data . You will interpret the Snowflake brand in the context of the in-browser experience, to help deliver the right information in an effective way, while always focused on page performance nd conversions

WHAT YOU'LL DO :

  • Design and create captivating experiences and user journeys for snowflake.com , and related web properties, ensuring they reflect our brand and resonate with our target audience and drive conversions.
  • Collaborate closely with other members of the Web Experience team and broader marketing colleagues to understand project requirements, marketing goals, and design guidelines, and translate them into visually appealing and intuitive user experiences.
  • Produce wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts, user flows, and interactions to stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate and improve the Web experience collaboration with the web team, ensuring optimal user satisfaction and seamless interactions.
  • Work in tandem with Designers, Content creators, developers and front-end engineers to implement and maintain the design integrity throughout the development process.
  • Proactively contribute to design discussions and brainstorming sessions, bringing fresh and innovative ideas to the table.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging design technologies to enhance the overall user experience and keep our digital presence at the forefront of innovation.

WHAT YOU'LL HAVE :

  • Expert understanding of user-centered design principles, responsive design, and best practices for web usability.
  • Hand on experience with UX research - tree testing, usertesting, persona development etc.
  • Hands on knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, enabling effective communication with development teams.
  • Track record of impact in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and maintaining high-quality design output.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; capable of working seamlessly within a team and with various stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented approach to design, ensuring pixel-perfect visuals.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EDUCATION :

  • Proven experience, 7 xyears minimum, as a Web UX Designer or similar role with a strong portfolio showcasing public facing web projects

  • Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Figma, or other similar software.

  • Adept at working with the AEM CMS platform.

Contract roles require remote and in-office work at our preferred San Mateo, CA office.

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $144,000 - $201,600.

  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
