Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for an Executive Chef 3 to join our team at one of our high-end Corporate Dining accounts in the Summit New Jersey. The current food landscape consists of 1 Corporate Cafes that serve Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, Satellite Coffee Bar with a Micro-Market, 2 additional Micro Markets on site and another Micro-Market 10 minutes away. In addition, we are opening an additional Coffee Bar in March of 2025. The Executive Chef 3 will oversee the culinary direction for business with a focus on culinary training for our Front of the House staff. Duties will include but not limited to:
Menu Planning
Ordering
Inventory
Training and development of the culinary staff
Food and labor cost with the General Manager
Ensure all food always looks and tastes great and is visually appetizing when served
50% Hands on working with the culinary team
Have a strong knowledge of food and able to cook using multiple styles of cuisine
Recognizing and reacting to contemporary trends
Use of correct food terminology and cooking methods
Constantly looking for new recipes and new ideas and initiatives that will improve both the quality of food and service as a whole

This position offers a traditional Business and Industry, predominantly Monday through Friday, schedule. Accrue 3 weeks of paid vacation per year (first year pro-rated based on date of hire). Medical Benefits beginning date of hire, and 401K with company match eligible.

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 3 years
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
