We are looking for candidates who will:**
Oversee the food service program at a long standing Govt contracts Mess Hall
Has an impeccable attention to detail within a food establishment
Someone that can deliver on tight budgetary confines
Undserstands the importance of full food management contract execution
Can handle multiple challenges of contract management
Is able to act as the number two when the Operations Manager is off site
A leader that promotes and mentors his/her team to excellence
Has excellent communication skills
Create a positive environment

The ideal candidate:
has a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively;
has culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance;
has the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and
is experienced with menu planning & forecasting processes, and understanding of safe food handling practices, qualities, and standards (e.g. HACCP forms, temperature logs, safety audits, inventory management, etc.)

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
