MOTE Marine Laboratory and Aquarium Sodexo Live Banquet Porter

n and assisting in the maintenance of function and meeting space. The Banquet Porter will report to the Hospitality Manager - Banquets, and will also take direction from Banquet Captains and occasionally from Catering Sales Managers. This position will typically work within a Convention Center or other events venue environment, and will occasionally work at off-site locations.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

• Flexible working schedule includes nights, weekends and holidays.

• Must be able to communicate well with direct supervisors, clients, and other staff.

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

• Understand all aspects of Banquet Event Orders.

• Have a working knowledge of all banquet equipment.

• Pallet Jack and Forklift Certified, Preferred.

• Valid Driver's License.

• Have a working knowledge of all banquet/bar equipment.

NOTE: Other requirements will be discussed during interview.
