The Banquet Porter will report to the Hospitality Manager - Banquets, and will also take direction from Banquet Captains and occasionally from Catering Sales Managers. This position will typically work within a Convention Center or other events venue environment, and will occasionally work at off-site locations.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
Flexible working schedule includes nights, weekends and holidays.
Must be able to communicate well with direct supervisors, clients, and other staff.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Understand all aspects of Banquet Event Orders.
Have a working knowledge of all banquet equipment.
Pallet Jack and Forklift Certified, Preferred.
Valid Driver's License.
Have a working knowledge of all banquet/bar equipment.
NOTE: Other requirements will be discussed during interview.
