    Position summary

    tory for this role will be Dayton, OH and the surrounding markets. Candidates' area of expertise should include a broad background with industrial control products, motors, drives and automation solutions. Candidates primary function will be end-to-end selling of appropriate products and solutions with a heavy focus on development of new business and organic growth within existing accounts.

    Compensation: In addition to a draw salary, this position is eligible for commission and car allowance.

    We are looking for an Outside Salesperson who will:

    • Identify and Establish Contact with Potential Customers:
      • Outside Sales Representatives actively seek out potential customers and initiate contact.
      • They schedule appointments and perform product demonstrations to showcase relevant offerings.
    • Develop and Maintain Customer Relationships:
      • Building strong relationships with existing customers is essential.
      • Outside Sales Representatives follow up with potential leads and maintain connections with current clients.
    • Attend Industry Trade Shows:
      • These representatives participate in industry events and trade shows.
      • They identify potential sales leads and engage with existing customers during these gatherings.
    • Stay Informed About Industry Trends:
      • Outside Sales Representatives keep abreast of industry developments.
      • This knowledge helps them identify new opportunities for potential sales.
    • Recommend Targeted Marketing Strategies:
      • Based on their understanding of the market, they suggest effective marketing approaches for specific regions or demographics.
    • Generate and Submit Sales Reports:
      • These reports provide valuable insights to management.

      • They help track sales performance and identify areas for improvement.

    What you bring:

    • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working with or selling to industrial End Users or industrial OEMs

    • Education: High school diploma required. A technical degree is preferred.

    • Interpersonal Skills: Effective communication and relationship-building abilities are crucial.

    • Negotiation Skills: Outside Sales Representatives negotiate contracts and pricing.

    • Product Knowledge: A solid understanding of the products or services they represent.

    • Adaptability: The ability to adapt to different customer needs and market dynamics.

    • Sales Techniques: Proficiency in sales strategies and closing deals.
