Creation of delivery routes & manifests via Innovo Routing software
Check job queues and email requests and modify routes accordingly
Manage the loading of trucks & assist the drivers during the loading process
Perform truck maintenance inspections
Ensure delivery of material to customers and/or branch locations
Provide excellent customer service
Perform annual performance reviews and corrective actions as required
Supervise support staff and coordinate with drivers
Multi-task and continually prioritize tasks to be completed throughout the day
Manage and maintain vehicles, making sure trucks are safe for daily operations
Walk the warehouse floor, and note of any large orders, special requirements, for delivery
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
Other responsibilities may be assigned
This position supervises 3 Loaders
What you will bring:
Associates (A.A.) degree or Bachelors degree preferred and 2-4 years of related warehouse experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
2-5 years of supervisory experience with leadership skills including coaching, mentoring, and listening
Knowledge of Cal OSHA
Experience and knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations, preferred
Experience in warehouse operations, preferably with electrical components
Familiarity with warehouse routing systems and inventory software
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and operate warehouse equipment (forklift certification is a plus)
Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams and Outlook
Experience using Eclipse (SWMS is a plus)
Must be a team player and abide by OSD's strong core values and beliefs
Able to work flexible and extended workdays based on business needs
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
Mix of office and warehouse work environments
Warehouse setting has exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels
Requires standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods
Use of PPE as required
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. on regular basis, unassisted; up to 70 lbs. occasionally
Work can involve the operation of forklift and pallet jacks
Location: This role is based in Fullerton, CA
Work hours: 9:00 PM - 5:30 AM, Sunday - Thursday
Salary Range:
This is an exempt position paying between $65,000 - $70,000 annually if working full-time. This salary range reflects figures based on the primary location within California. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role.
