use and delivery operations of the Wire Center, assuring customer satisfaction and maximing productivity and profitability. The Wire Center Manager is also responsible for evaluating and identifying process improvements to enhance the overall operation of the Wire Center.
Shift: Monday- Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM. Irregular business hours and occasional weekends based on business needs.
We're looking for a manager who:
Set the direction and oversee the wire center operations including the movement of wire into and out of inventory approves all modifications to inventory and coordinates inventory audit process
Lead Wire Center by setting goals and focusing on continuous improvement and associate development.
Possess knowledge of each wire center roles (e.g. Picking, packing, receiving and shipping) and equipment used e.g. RF scanner, wire cutting machine, forklift.
Solve most complex wire center issues and partner with external and internal customers to deliver high customer satisfaction.
Analyze wire center pain points and implement process improvements by collaborating with stakeholders
Learn and maximize capabilities of ERP software Solar Eclipse to improve wire center operations.
Serve as a safety ambassador regularly covering safety tips and correcting unsafe practices.
Provide input and proactively monitor the warehouse's budget to capitalize on efficiencies and cost savings wherever possible.
What you bring:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience managing teams
Strong leadership skills and proven experience driving behaviors that lead to great results
Strong problem solving skills and ability to maintain a calm demeanor under stressful situations
Excellent communications skills by phone, email, verbal and written forms of communication to deliver excellent customer service to internal and external customers
Knowledge of industry safety best practices and OSHA
Willing to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacket. You will also use push carts and rolling ladders
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
Ability to be on your stand for extended periods and traverse the warehouse with or without accommodation
Basic problem-solving skills and computer skills
