Installed Solutions Commercial Manager - China
Location: Shanghai / Beijing / Shenzhen
Reporting line: Direct line into CN Commercial lead
Partners/ Potential Partners / Channels: Existing Distributor (SKT) and IS dealer channel, new Local control/home automation partners, new IS dealers, local IS Industry players (ie CSHIA, Avixa China), business development partners, direct B2B commercial customers
Key Outcomes: Landing IS global strategy in CN, 5 yr CN LRP and growth plan to +$40M/yr by FY26, Owns/responsible for IS business in China, including revenue in fiscal year through Disti / IS channel, drive new HHs for Sonos China & execution of IS/Pro long range growth plans
Key Responsibilities:
Own local IS strategic planning incl CN IS LRP (long range plan) - ensuring its connected to and aligned with regional APAC IS LRP
Work closely with the APAC IS regional lead to implement strong strategies and execution plans in line with CN IS LRP - including engaging with global Sonos Pro GTM and product teams to influence global Sonos Pro roadmap requirements for CN
Gather, own, drive local market insights to ensure we have an excellent understanding on the local home automation, IS, Commercial audio markets
Manage IS Channel in CN - direct through Disti and into key dealer partners, developing sell-in plans to achieve monthly/quarterly/annual objectives - connected to monthly forecasting process (working closely with internal Sonos IS Ops planning and finance partners)
Ensure account planning through joint business plans and quarterly reviews with Distribution/ relevant IS partners in market, focussed on driving ST, driving end-customer demand generation
Maintain and manage relevant local IS partner programs
Drive Sell-through and reg growth plans with IS Disti ensuring inventory sold into Disti is sold through to end consumers, end customers in projects through to new households and registrations, driving replenishment orders
Own and drive relationship with key strategic IS partners in China
Control / Home automation partners: ie Aqara / Yeelight, etc
IS industry partners: ie Avixa CN
Business development partners: end-customers of scale (commercial), channel partners to commercial (ie residential builders, hotels. hospitality)
Implement and manage new distribution partners as needed over time (ie for additional reach or industry vertical expertise)
Work closely with the CN Sonos consumer team to minimise channel conflict and leverage channel and marketing campaigns where relevant
Role profile – what it takes:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Existing experience within the Industry - clear understanding of Home automation market, installation market & Professional audio markets
Between 5-10 years of customer facing Sales or Marketing experience
Positive relationship building skills
Excellent communicator in mandarin and in written English
Self-motivator that thrives in an ever-changing environment
Dynamic outside of the box thinker
