    Position summary

    inbound sales calls promptly and efficiently, as outlined by the required call handling metrics.

    • Utilize discovery questions to build and present technology solutions that fit business needs.

    • Representatives are responsible for placing orders, scheduling installation appointments, and customer follow up while working within multiple computer applications.

    • Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales goals by utilizing call-flow driven consultative sales approach.

    • Interact with other internal Spectrum Business support departments to complete sales and resolve customer issues.

    • Educate customers in the use of installed products, service offerings, billing, charges, and product features.

    • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously: listening, answering questions, viewing windows and order entry.

    • Establish and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, professionalism and courtesy during all customer interactions.

    • Follow-up with customers via telephone or email to ensure successful sales interactions.

    • Increase knowledge of competitors' pricing, packaging and products to discuss side by side comparisons of Spectrum Business' and competitors' products and services.

    • Promote and communicate current marketing campaigns and promotions.

    • Perform other duties as required by supervisor.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

    • Strong communication skills in a professional setting including the ability to read, write, speak and understand English

    • Ability to use computer equipment and appropriate software applications including billing system and other role-related tools

    • High performance driven individual; goal oriented

    • Ability to create positive experience interacting with customers

    • Fluent in Microsoft programs; Outlook, Excel

    • Must be available Monday through Friday

    • Ability to work variable hours; may include evening hours, and non-federal holidays

    Required Education

    • High school diploma or equivalent

    Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years

    • 1 year professional work experience

    • 1 year sales background

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    Preferred Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

    • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales

    • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback

    • Proven work experience as a sales representative

    • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills

    Preferred Education

    • College degree in business, marketing or related field, or equivalent experience

    Preferred Related Work Experience and Number of Years

    • 1 year of sales experience with a proven track record of results preferred

    The base pay for this position generally is between $18.00 and $22.30. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.

    In addition, this position has a commission earnings target starting at $23,400.
