JOB SUMMARY

The Communications Business Product Analyst is responsible for driving efficient outcomes for the Internal Communications Technology team. This role will define and document requirements for development of various technology platforms, including the company-wide intranet, video and mass email tools. The role will also identify business needs and perform analysis of internal system data, scope and business objectives. This includes research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of associated technologies and company requirements. The position actively and consistently supports all related efforts to simplify and enhance the employee experience when using internal communications technology while identifying business problems and proposing business solutions.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience

  • Identify internal stakeholders and their requirements and advise how those requests align with corporate strategic initiatives

  • Gather all technical and user specifications to document for developers and testing teams

  • Analyze incoming requirements to understand strengths and weaknesses to recommend priorities for internal communication systems, identifying the highest value problem to solve and validate that the team has a solution

  • Consult with management and users to determine development needs

  • Participate in testing to validate requirements were met by developers

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English

  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively

  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a collaborative and dynamic team environment

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities

  • Ability to analyze and interpret data

  • Ability to define key performance indicators / metrics

  • Ability to document, prepare and present data-driven presentations

  • Ability to quickly become subject matter expert on multiple software tools

  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to quickly identify business problems/opportunities

  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner

  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time

  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively

  • Knowledge of software applications such as Word, Excel, etc.

  • Knowledge of applicable system/s (Specifically Adobe Experience Cloud: AEM, Campaign, Target, Analytics

Required Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years

Business Systems, Product or IT analysis experience - 2+

The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and location.
