    Highlights:

    As the Director of Special Pricing, you lead a team that ensures effective special pricing for standard and non-standard contracts. You support non-standard solutions, offers and legal agreements, such as master service agreements (MSAs), forms and rate cards while managing E-rate and Rural Healthcare (RHC) pricing to ensure compliance. You collaborate with all functional groups within Spectrum Enterprise to drive transactional efficiency for sales and operations. You recruit and develop top talent with enhanced training that improves efficiency and provides the best possible client service. You thrive in an office environment and interact with teams via in-person and digitally. You report directly to the Senior Director of Complex Solutions for goals and guidance.

    What you will do:

    • Encourage company-wide success through active and consistent support of all efforts to simplify and enhance the client experience.
    • Drive a high-performance culture by developing an effective front line leadership team and assisting them with managing their direct reports.
    • Partner with product management teams to define pricing guidelines and provide regular feedback on new trends.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define strategies that improve the processes for requesting and obtaining approval for special pricing.
    • Improve response rates for requests and automate approvals where possible by measuring and analyzing special pricing requests volume.
    • Maintain a database of quotes to compare competitor offers and promotions to
    • Spectrum Enterprise offers and promotions.
    • Adhere to compliance requirements by approving pricing for all E-rate and related regulatory programs.
    • Facilitate ongoing process improvements by documenting and sharing best practices.
    • Perform additional duties related to the position as assigned.

    Required keys for success:

    • Three or more years of management experience managing teams responsible for transactional or operational roles related to sales, pricing, product or finance.
    • Eight or more years of telecommunications experience with a successful ILEC/CLEC, MSO managing a market-leading product or finance organization.
    • Knowledge of enterprise product suite, including data, video and voice products.
    • Track record of recruiting, maintaining and optimizing a team of product professionals.
    • Experience leading geographically dispersed teams.
    • History of developing, communicating and implementing strategies and tactics based on analysis of data.
    • Ability to supervise and motivate others while managing and delivering against several initiatives simultaneously.
    • Prioritization and organizational skills with the ability to make decisions and resolve issues while working under pressure.
    • Proven track record of successfully driving product and financial performance and attaining targets in partnership with sales and operations.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
    • Effective written and spoken English communication skills with all levels of an organization.

    How you will stand out from the crowd:

    • Experience with custom pricing management in the cable or telecommunications industry.
    • Proven leader of a high-performance and high-volume team that routinely handles up to 50,000 opportunity touches a year.
    • Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams, including Product Management, Finance, Legal/Compliance, Operations, Deal Capture Team and IT/System Development.
    • History of providing recurring metrics on special pricing volumes and time in motion reports.

    Your education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in technology, finance or business administration, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience (required).
    • Master’s degree in business administration, finance or engineering (preferred).
