    Position summary

    TITLE: Network Operations Analyst IV
    LOCATION: Town & Country, MO

    JOB SUMMARY: Perform analysis of data from outage and change management, alarms, dispatching, and CMTS (Cable Modem Termination System) using analytical and problem-solving skills. Identify issues and risks associated with changes in network operations. Conceptualize and create analyses needed to drive operational improvements. Apply expert knowledge of data sources, from transaction level to reporting with a deep understanding of the relationship between changes in operational processes and the subsequent effects on department performance. Represent data-related needs of the reporting group in meetings with the data development team and communicate back to management and peers on proposed decisions. Facilitate communication between business units, from initial requirements to final implementation. Perform special projects from inception to completion, occasionally as a project leader, with less oversight by management. Utilize data query techniques and report building in SQL Developer or Access. Create macros, formulas, pivot tables, lookup tables, and conditional formatting using Microsoft Office Suite including Excel or Access. Query data using SQL and industry-specific database systems including PostgreSQL, Oracle, or Alteryx. Develop criteria, method of analysis, and creating visualizations within dashboards using Tableau.

    EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Analytics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field. 4 years of experience: in data query techniques and report building in SQL Developer or Access; and creating macros, formulas, pivot tables, lookup tables, and conditional formatting using Microsoft Office Suite including Excel or Access. 2 years of experience querying data using SQL and industry-specific database systems including PostgreSQL, Oracle, or Alteryx. 1 year of experience developing criteria, method of analysis, and creating visualizations within dashboards using Tableau. Remote work permitted up to 2 days a week.
