    Position summary

    le requires deep expertise in cybersecurity analytics, dashboard development, and asset management data integration. The ideal candidate will leverage Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, and Python to design and maintain cybersecurity dashboards, providing actionable insights to stakeholders. You will work closely with cybersecurity, IT, and data engineering teams to integrate Configuration Management Database (CMDB) asset data, ensuring accurate visibility into security risks and IT infrastructure.

    • Actively and consistently support efforts to enhance cybersecurity analytics and asset management.

    • Plan and lead the complete analytics life-cycle, including requirements gathering, data grooming, model prototyping, validation, and productionalization.

    • Design and build cybersecurity dashboards using Tableau to monitor security threats, vulnerabilities, and asset risk exposure.

    • Develop interactive and automated reports to support real-time security decision-making.

    • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) cybersecurity and asset management data from CMDB, SIEMs, and vulnerability management systems.

    • Utilize Alteryx for data preparation, automation, and workflow optimization.

    • Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction, aggregation, and storage.

    • Leverage Python for data analysis, automation, and machine learning-based security insights.

    • Identify trends and anomalies in security data to proactively address risks.

    • Partner with cybersecurity, IT asset management, and data teams to ensure data consistency and usability.

    • Provide strategic insights into cybersecurity risks through data-driven recommendations.

    • Define best practices for data governance, dashboard performance optimization, and automation.

    • Increase speed to delivery by implementing automated solutions across cybersecurity analytics.

    • Mentor and train junior team members and set a strategic vision for cybersecurity analytics.

    WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

    Required Qualifications

    • Experience:
      • Data manipulation and statistical modeling as a Scientist, Consultant, Architect, DBA, or Engineer - 10+
      • SQL/R/SAS Programming - 10+
      • Lead the design, develop and deployment machine learning and analytics models - 5+
      • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, operations research and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Technical Skills:
      • Strong experience with Tableau (dashboard creation, calculations, performance tuning).
      • Proficiency in Alteryx for ETL and workflow automation.Strong SQL skills (query optimization, stored procedures, data modeling).
      • Advanced knowledge of Python (Pandas, automation scripts, machine learning).
      • Experience working with CMDB data and integrating IT asset management datasets.
      • Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, MITRE ATT&CK).
      • Experience with cloud security data (AWS, Azure, GCP).
    • Skills:
      • Keen attention to detail with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute multiple tasks
    • Abilities:
      • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
      • Ability to communicate results and recommendations to a wide variety of audiences including executive leadership
      • Ability to identify and resolve end-to-end performance, network, server, cloud, and platform issues
    • Travel Ability:
      • Office Environment
    • Schedule:
      • Full time.

      • This position is eligible to work in a hybrid work model (combination of in-office and remote days)

    Preferred Qualifications

      • Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel).

      • Knowledge of IT asset lifecycle management and vulnerability assessment methodologies.

      • Background in machine learning for security analytics.

      • Expertise in cybersecurity risk modeling and analytics.

      • Experience with Hadoop, Spark, and/or Snowflake.

      • Experience designing data architectures, data warehouses, and data marts.

      • Master's degree in a related field.
