    Position summary

    on are met. Mentor and guide the work of technical staff. Review work plans and designs, as well as advise on improvements. Support All efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience. Support and coordinate circuit designs and information for large business and commercial installations to ensure deliverables and installation are met on-time and within Granite network inventory system. Document all Transport Network, Optical Network, and Network Edge designs in the designated inventory and design system Granite. Augment facilities from start to finish including MPLS, trucking, transport facilities to support traffic within inventory system. Utilize and research necessary requirements, equipment, and design elements within various systems including SalesForce, CTM, Remedy, SharePoint, and Granite in order to design the circuits. Conduct research on network products, services, protocols, and standards to align with develops int e network industry. Ensure consistent integration points across key support systems and compliance with engineering standards, policies, and procedures. Evaluate, select, and apply standard network engineering techniques for non-standard requirements. Create and maintain documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, and processes. Audit support systems to ensure data integrity. Perform conference calls on an as-needed basis with various internal and external parties and peer groups to meet critical dates and work through the barriers to production. Design OSI Model, TCP/IP, and Optical Networks. Design networks using Microsoft Visio, Excel, Bentley, Spatial, AutoCAD, and Smallworld. Execute command lines to configure network equipment.

    EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or Foreign Equivalent) in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5 years of experience designing OSI Model, TCP/IP, and Optical Networks; designing networks using Microsoft Visio, Excel, Bentley, Spatial, AutoCAD, and Smallworld; and, executing command lines to configure network equipment.

    The pay for this position has a salary range of $159,https://598.00 to $196,https://400.00. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
