JOB SUMMARY
As a leader on a talented team that is driving industry-leading growth, the Sr Dir, Internet Products will lead efforts to deliver and maintain performance of core Residential and Small to Medium Business (SMB) Internet equipment portfolios.
The Sr Dir, Internet Products is a proven, motivated, and energetic leader who brings deep knowledge of Internet customer premise equipment (CPE), related operational support systems and processes across Hybrid Fiber Coax (HFC) DOCSIS and Fiber to the Premise (FTTP) Passive Optical Network (PON) delivery platforms to all aspects of product development and management activities.
This position may oversee product development, product operations, lifecycle management and complex, cross-functional programs for the Internet CPE portfolio. In collaboration with executive management, sales, marketing, operations, IT and engineering experts, the Sr Dir, Internet Products understands how to leverage and lead resources to deliver and maintain product performance for market-leading customer experience.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience in the cable and telecommunications industry, with expertise in Coax and fiber internet and voice services. Experience managing Product Development and Product Operations as well as familiarity with security, video, and/or managed solutions is highly desirable.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently lead efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Stay abreast of changing market conditions, competitors and new technologies, and develop a long range product development strategy for the portfolio of complex products.
Develop and successfully deliver a realistic and aggressive product development road map by managing scope, schedule, resources, and costs.
Create product and business plans to harness market opportunities.
Measure success of products and manage lifecycle.
Partner with business stakeholders in order to achieve system architecture alignment to deliver the product vision.
Gain buy-in from stakeholders and senior executives to yield successful go-to-market support.
Inspire and generate top performance from a knowledgeable product management team in a highly technical and fast paced environment.
Matrix manage cross-functional teams.
Represent Charter in public forums such as industry panels and events.
Perform other duties as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Advanced knowledge of cable and telecommunications business services, with specific depth in ethernet, fiber internet and managed solutions
Demonstrated ability and agility to quickly adapt to rapidly evolving and changing business priorities, along with delivering programs that leverage technology and innovation
Demonstrated, credible and strong relationship building skills at both the C-level and execution and delivery leadership level
Proven ownership, execution and delivery accountability experience leading highly visible enterprise and line-of-business programs
Ability to lead, motivate and mentor a team and drive best-in-class performance; build pride and passion; grow and nurture talent
Ability to work collaboratively across functions
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner, both internally and in public forums
Ability to communicate and present information effectively with senior executives and peers as well as with technical partners and agencies
Ability to respond quickly to changing market needs
Ability to define, analyze and report on key performance indicators, such as customer acquisition cost, retention, and lifetime value
Ability to prioritize and organize multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to matrix manage across corporate functions and the field
Ability to develop and manage business cases and financial models
Effective computer and software application skills (e.g. word processing, spreadsheet, etc.)
Effective data and financial analysis skills
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree is required (Telecom, Engineering/Science, IT, Business or Strategy)
Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years
10 years of Product strategy and development
10 years of Cable or telecommunications industry experience
7 years of Complex business services product management
7 years of Direct team management

The pay for this position has a salary range of $155,600.00 to $275,800.00. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
