Position summary
TITLE: Sr. Business Systems Analyst
LOCATION: Charlotte, NC
JOB SUMMARY: Translate high-level business requirements into technical solution requirements in the form of a Technical Specification (design) Document for use across the enterprise. Work with software architects and developers to present analysis & design considerations, develop technical specifications, sequence or process diagrams, provide data mappings and processing logic for programmers to transform into usable code. Assist in defining the possible technologies or architecture options available and feasible to address the requirements. Develop a deep understanding of how systems communicate with data sources including integration points, data element mappings & translation logic. Identify and recommend ideas for process improvements and risk management within the application/component framework. Write and execute SQL statements to run queries against data sources to test and analyze data. Read, analyze, and interpret code using Java. Read and interpret database models using Oracle DB. Construct requests and executing and analyzing responses for API testing using Postman. Remote work allowed up to 2 days per week.
EDUCATION/ REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related field. 3 years of experience: writing and executing SQL statements to run queries against data sources to test and analyze data; reading, analyzing, and interpreting code using Java; reading and interpreting database models using Oracle DB; and constructing requests and executing and analyzing responses for API testing using Postman.
