JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Executive Vice President, Software Development & Information Systems (“SDIT”), the SVP, IT Service Delivery will provide strategic leadership and oversight of the service delivery and test teams that drive ordering, provisioning and mobile services for Charter customers. Leading a team of approximately 1,000 resources with oversight of more than 100 systems, this role has an opportunity to balance technology tradition with innovation. This executive will lead a workplace culture that embraces continuous improvement, operational excellence, diversity and inclusion, and growth & development for all employees.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Lead a Software Development and Test organization responsible for the ordering, provisioning and activation systems across the Charter enterprise.
Partner with executive business leaders in Customer Service, Sales, Marketing and Field Operations to define key projects and architectural evolution of systems.
Lead the technology development and delivery of identified key projects on time and within budget.
Drive metric-driven continuous improvement through the organization through greater agility and clear best practices.
Improve service levels through continuous improvement in delivery and technical processes.
Modernize infrastructure while paying strict attention to costs and business value.
Develop and implement a culture with a development and inclusive mindset.
Inform leadership of risks and issues.
Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

Expert level knowledge of multiple domains associated with the telecommunications business
Knowledge of methodologies and best practices to improve technology service delivery

Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively and collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders

Required Education
Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years
Experience in complex multi-system software development – 10+
Experience leading software development test and operations at significant scale – 5+

Experience in telecommunications

Master’s Degree in a related field or the equivalent

Experience in legacy software environments such as mainframe and classic server infrastructure
Experience in contemporary software environments including but not limited to cloud, containers, and micro services
Experience with execution and support of subscription services
