with Spectrum Networks and Sales Management, develops News sales strategies and objectives to increase share of ad spending in the market, and growing the News category.
Oversee the regional News leads and partner with Field Sales Leadership to ensure that the sales organization is utilizing the entire suite of News opportunities.
Collaborate with Reach teams to identify current & future News market conditions as predictors of performance and activity needs.
Provide accurate forecasting and category revenue reporting monthly to key stakeholders.
Collaborate with strategy and activation team to development and partner on launch strategy of additional products and partnerships.
In partnership with Marketing, identify opportunities to increase market engagement and grow share.
Support all expansion efforts and identify maximum opportunity.
Provide insight and support of all News training efforts.
Take the lead in the organization of Spectrum Reach's participation in News industry events and conferences.
Lead Spectrum Reach's company-wide News committees.
Streamline processes and ensure we are working across teams as the business evolves to have news incorporated into all new product offerings
REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS
15+ years in related News media management and/or News advertising sales experience, with a proven successful track record
10+ years of Sales leadership experience
Managed geographically distributed sales organization with a track record of success
Deep knowledge of Advanced Advertising (Digital, Programmatic, Addressable, etc.)
Proven ability to work cross functionally and establish and maintain internal relationships, both within Spectrum Reach and across Charter
Demonstrated sales planning and sales training ability to effectively develop and implement sales strategies and objectives and to motivate and enhance effective sales techniques of sales personnel
A strong track record of developing and leading high performing teams that consistently meet and exceed their short and long term goals and objectives
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Advanced degree, such as a MBA, or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience
