Stay informed on the latest developments in the music industry, including emerging artists, genres and trends
Partner with cross functional teams, to ensure editorial content aligns with broader business objectives
Work to build the Punjabi ecosystem across genres and various artist tiers to contribute to the overall Punjabi strategy and vision for Spotify's editorial content, helping to drive innovation and excellence
Curate and maintain playlists for various moods, moments and occasions
Work on organisational wide projects, by working closely with the Global Editorial Teams and other cross-functional teams
Implement the best practices from across the company, to build robust process and ensure high efficiency in execution
Who you are
Be deeply knowledgeable about Punjabi music and artists - both new, and catalog music
You have experience in the music industry, working with a broad range of music content. Experience in programming for music services is preferred
Good presentation skills, strong data analysis skills, proficient in using data analytical tools to track and analyze music trends, playlist performance and audience engagement
Having formal training or formal knowledge in music theory will be an advantage.
You are digitally savvy and comfortable with digital technology
You are numerate and adept at analyzing and interpreting data and using it to set goals
You are highly organized, detail oriented, with strong time management skills
You have good communication skills - spoken and written, in English and in Punjabi
You are comfortable with working in a fast changing environment and matrix reporting structures. Be comfortable with ambiguity and be self driven
You are a great teammate, have a strong work ethic, and a sense of humor
