    Position summary

    The Squarespace Finance team is looking for a Financial Analyst to manage corporate allocations and partner with our People, Legal, and Finance groups. You will partner with the FP&A Senior Manager to explore a range of business questions, helping the company to achieve its financial and operational goals through data and analysis.

    This Senior Analyst will be a crucial member of the FP&A team, and someone who will ask lots of questions and grow along with the company. You will dig into challenges - from routine operations to forecasting and planning - to connect the dots and draw valuable insights for the business. You will also be a key internal partner with the leaders in your partner departments. You must be comfortable presenting financial information across the company in a clear way. This is the perfect opportunity to leverage analytical processes to learn the inner workings of a successful organization.

    You will report to the FP&A Senior Manager in our New York headquarters.

    You'll Get To…

    • Support the forecast and planning process by communicating with business partners and internal finance team members to identify investment opportunities
    • Partner with the SQSP Total Rewards team to manage and forecast all headcount related investments
    • Guide improvements to our headcount reporting
    • Partner with Workplace Services team for all real estate and facilities planning
    • Perform variance analysis and provide recommendations on spend across organizational teams
    • Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency of existing processes and propose improvements to improve the use of key metrics
    • Prepare insightful financial and operational analytics for management to support company initiatives

    Who We're Looking For

    • 7+ years experience in financial planning & analysis
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance or equivalent experience
    • Mastery of Excel
    • Analytically minded
    • Attention to detail and willingness to dig into the numbers to gain key insights
    • Expert communication skills and comfort working across the organization

    Cash Compensation Range: $105,000 - $227,000 USD

    The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, and location, among other factors.

    In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), all Squarespace employees are eligible to receive equity in the company as part of their total compensation.
