The Senior Market Segment Analyst is an important role focused on understanding the buyer needs in the healthcare tech product space with the goal of making healthcare better for our customers. The role provides analysis and recommendations to senior leaders on product positioning, pricing, and shares inputs with key cross-functional partners involved in the go-to-market of our solutions.
The Senior Market Segment Analyst will also support and develop business cases for new opportunities in partnership with Strategy, Marketing, and Customer Group and represent recommendations to other partners in the Product team. The Senior Market Segment Analyst will use market research and analytical skills as well as strong business intuition to synthesize data and information in order to make recommendations. This role will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, independently and cross-functionally, to drive product strategy across the organization.
Market Analysis:
Own the evaluation business case work on new opportunities and current offerings to:
Identify areas of innovation opportunity, develop and evaluate ideas, and build business cases
Use insights to guide short- and long-term segment planning and prioritization with a strategic lens. Partner with the strategy team annually on priorities and market research.
Prioritize product requirements for the Product Management teams
Contribute to the development of a product's go-to-market plan and work with the sales and marketing team to execute
Provide support for the sales and marketing team for new and existing customers
Provide input to ascertain product sales targets
In collaboration with other teams (finance, legal, sales), conduct evaluation for pricing, incentives, deal evaluation and valuation and at times contractual terms
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in related, progressive roles in areas such as product, consulting, market research, strategy
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
3+ years of experience in market sizing research and industry analysis
Pricing experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or related field
Experience in the healthcare industry or technology
Experience in or knowledge of pharmacy
