Join our team as a Finance Business Partner (m/f/d). Please note that the contract is fixed to 24 months.
Role & Responsibility:
Supporting organization in project execution of contracts with customers, regional companies, partners, and other Siemens entities.
Having responsibility for commercial/finance-related matters, including handling accounting, legal, tax, foreign exchange, bank guarantees and insurance - supported by internal resources and tools.
Ensuring the accuracy of costs and pricing calculation as well as overall project financials, incl. recording of such in appropriate systems, e.g., SAP.
Supporting monthly project forecasting activities and conduct follow-ups of project results.
Supporting project management with monthly project reporting.
Responsibility for monthly revenue recognition, contractual invoicing and cash collection.
Assisting Forecast and Budget related tasks, supporting Business Management.
Preparing various project reports and analyses.
Preparing business reviews and analysis of monthly results to the management
Ensuring the alignment of all financial activities with the internal control system, contact for internal and external audits.
Driving new initiatives such as reporting automation and constant change within the team and beyond.
Participation in the optimization of commercial processes, improvement of data quality in order to increase the degree of digitization and automation.
What do you need to realize what matters.
Proven professional experience in corporate finance management.
Academic degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent (Master's degree preferred).
CPM (Commercial Project Manager) Certification - preferred.
Hyperion, Essbase/SmartView, SAP and Business Objects experience will be a plus.
Knowledge of Power BI.
Fluent written and verbal communication in Business English & German.
Excellent professional knowledge of MS Office (Excel).
Relationship management skills, excellent communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with a critical approach.
High degree of self-initiative with the ability to learn, handle uncertainties and undertake new challenges.
Experience in digitalization and innovation development.
Familiar with financial controlling concepts, terminology, systems, procedures, tools and practices. Ensures timely and properly execution of process within given principles and finds ways to make things more efficient.
Teammate, Works effectively with others on a common task in a personal or virtual environment.
Understands basic concepts behind a focused approach to problem solving. Looks for data that help to identify and differentiate the symptoms and root causes of defined problems.
Multitask professional, independent in performing their roles, able to work in a fast paced environment.
