    Position summary

    ties:**

    • Responsible for foundry device model and simulator qualifications ensuring our conformance to foundry approved references, using the required AMSV analog circuit simulator (Eldo, AFS or AFS Mega) as well as 3-rd party integrations within IC Design Flow environments
    • Provide timely, accurate library qualification reports
    • Automate the foundry test cases in the format used by CICV testing tool and regularly run regressions for new releases of simulators
    • Test and supervise simulator performance reporting any significant performance degradation
    • Build various test cases to evaluate new Foundry-related features using analog design languages (Spice, Verilog-A)
    • Consider different quality attributes (FURPS) while validating the Foundry-related features, with special emphasis on Performance attributes
    • Own the adequate tests, analyze the test reports, make the diagnosis of problems, report them to development teams and possibly suggest the way to tackle them
    • Act as foundries first line support on AMSV simulators or modeling related issues, open JIRAs, coordinate resolutions with RnD and automate tests to avoid regressions
    • Use products as a designer and report issues and suggestions to improve them
    • Work closely with development teams to optimize the development and validation cycle time in an Agile process
    • Work with leading foundries to build up quality assurance flows
    • Provide technical support in foundry advance node qualifications
    • Contribute regularly in all or assigned foundry technical meetings.
    • (Sophisticated) Help in crafting materials for presentations to foundries and AMS BU customers regarding the foundry qualification status and issues updates.
    • (Sophisticated) Assist in studying foundries' roadmaps and technology roadmaps to help provide mentorship to RnD on technology enablement requirements.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related technical field.

    • Experienced in analog circuit design and usage of commercial Analog simulators.

    • Good knowledge of a broad range of analog circuit simulation analysis types is a plus.

    • Expertise in different Variation Analyses such as Monte Carlo Analysis and PVT Corners.

    • Good knowledge of Standard Cells Library verification and CAD concepts for analog circuit simulators is helpful

    • Experience in writing Verilog-A descriptions is helpful.

    • Knowledge or curiosity about QA methodology and in development tools (version management, defect management, or test coverage) is helpful.

    • Shell Scripting, UNIX knowledge, Programming and development experience is desirable.

    • Extraordinary teammate who can work efficiently with a worldwide, multi-site development environment.

    • Self-motivated, inventive, and has the ability to work independently with minimal direction.

    • Excellent command of English and presentation skills.
