Senior EM/IR C++ Software Development Engineer

About the role:

• Technical leadership of one or more projects within a software product.
• Delivery of high-quality software solutions based on market requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Design, research, implement and modify software programming for products, i.e. Computational geometry algorithms to tackle problems in parasitic extraction domain.
• Design, research, implement and modify software programming for products, i.e. Computational numeric methods to solve problems in linear algebra and differential questions domains.
• Integrate and adapt 3 rd party linear solver libraries for production needs.
• Ability to understand complex problems, research and implement solutions for them.
• Ability to do planning and task break down, provide realistic time estimation.
• Work with minimal direction on sophisticated projects with wide latitude for independent judgment.
• Document and functional specs. Ability to read and understand documentation from the product requestors.
• Supervise junior colleagues, work with peer from different teams (software engineering, product engineering, quality assurance) to deliver product.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (4-5 years) in software development.
• Strong knowledge in linear algebra numeric methods.
• MS+ in CS/Math/Physics/EE or related.
• Strong C/C++/ STL programming skills.
• Knowledge of Linux operating system.
• Good knowledge of English is a must (both verbal and written)!
