• Recommends appropriate risk rating in each credit submission

• Responsible for monitoring ongoing performance, financial reporting and completing spreads of assigned borrowers to ensure compliance with credit terms and conditions of credit authorization

• Prepares daily reports and monitors ongoing exposure for compliance with credit limits and reviews and investigates trading excesses

• Develops an understanding of hedge fund counterparty legal documentation and related credit terms as well as recommend credit terms and conditions within trading documentation ISDA, MRA and MSFTAs.

• The Analyst will monitor economic and market conditions to identify adverse trends and the impact on the covered portfolio as part of portfolio monitoring and analysis.

Job Details

The Analyst - Global Counterparty Credit is responsible for working with Treasury Credit Control and the Traders to investigate and resolve credit line excesses and violations. The position provides credit support and assistance to the Traders and Treasury Credit Control.

• Responsible for assisting in monitoring assigned borrowers under structured produce programs to ensure compliance with terms and to identify adverse trends
• Assists in development of financial solutions for clients including review and comment on credit facility term sheets
• Assists in preparing Loan Capital Committee presentations
• Prepares and recommends credit submissions including annual and interim client reviews
• Recommends appropriate risk rating in each credit submission
• Conducts appropriate market, industry and client research as well as risk analysis in support of credit development and submission processes where appropriate
• Monitors ongoing exposure and compliance of Borrowers with credit limits, credit terms, reporting and security requirements

Job Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Business (Accounting or Finance) or Mathematics/Economics
• Series 79 and 63
• up to 5 years related experience
• Must be detail oriented and possess problem-solving skills
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and establish priorities
• Proficient in interpersonal communication (both oral and written), and have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management
