    Accountabilities

    TDS Treasury is looking for an individual with strong analytical and communication skills, a deep understanding of capital markets products, and knowledge of internal and external liquidity policies. This position will report to the Director, Liquidity Strategy, TDS Treasury, TD Securities.

    The Associate, Liquidity Strategy - TDS Treasury will be accountable for:

    • Building a collateral management tool and framework (data onboarding, identifying collateral sources and uses, defining algorithms and rulesets and identify opportunities to improve efficiency of collateral allocation).

    • Participating in the development of a secured funding strategy.

    • Participating in and helping to drive liquidity initiatives on behalf of TDS.

    • Understanding the nuances and gaps between TDS' implementation of liquidity assumptions and the regulatory or internally approved requirement.

    • Supporting the development and buildout of liquidity management tools.

    • Assisting other members of the team with ad-hoc requests as needed.

    Job Requirements and Qualifications

    • 3+ years of experience in capital markets.

    • Understanding of the capital markets industry including products and services.

    • Knowledge or experience with regulatory liquidity requirements, collateral management, fixed income and/or equity markets an asset.

    • Must be a self-starter with demonstrated ability to work well individually and as part of a team.

    • Must be detail-oriented with excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.

    • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and comfortable speaking to and able to adapt to technical and business audiences.

    • Must be able to multi-task, work under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and learn on the fly.

    • Must be comfortable working with, analyzing and manipulating large amounts of data.

    • Must be proficient with Excel and PowerPoint - able to produce pivot tables, graphs; use lookups/index/match/and more. Familiarity with SQL and Python are an asset.
