    Security Engineering's Endpoint Threat Protection team is looking for someone with experience implementing and deploying endpoint security tool solutions. The candidate will also have a strong tool-kit to develop and maintain technical solutions that adhere to engineering and architectural design principles while meeting business requirements. You’ll also provide technical expertise with a focus on security, reliability, efficiency and scalability. This mandate includes planning, evaluating, recommending, designing, operationalizing, and supporting solutions in compliance with enterprise and industry standards.
    Here's some of what you will be asked to perform:
    • Apply your experience and expertise to ensure all TD areas that interact with Endpoint Threat Protection technologies (eg: EDR, AV, FIM, etc) are implemented correctly and have the necessary capabilities, processes and documentation to operate effectively.
    • Support other internal teams leveraging Endpoint Threat Protection tools for their deliverables (eg: Identity Access Management, Breach attack simulation, etc)
    • Execute on TD Technology's Security Engineering strategy as it relates to the introduction of tools and the automation of build, test, release and configure across application, platform and infrastructure.
    • Partner with Operations to automatically integrate with appropriate tools and processes efficiency improvements via automation (scripting or through the use of software development techniques)
    • Apply an in-depth understanding of relevant business needs and work with technology partners to identify and leverage synergies across the various areas.
    • Draw on best practices and your knowledge of internal and external business issues to improve products or services.
    • Monitor and control costs associated with the work you do, which may include contributions to negotiations of third-party contracts/agreements
    • Collaborate with governance and control groups (e.g. regulatory and operational risk, compliance and audit) to provide your subject matter expertise and consult on risk issues related to Engineering technology and tools.
    • Establish effective relationships across multiple business and technology partners, program and project managers

    • University or Post-Graduate Degree.

    • Strong academic background (e.g., computer science, engineering).

    • 5-7 years relevant experience.

    • Solid experience, knowledge and skills in your own discipline.

    • Advanced knowledge of specific domain or range of engineering frameworks, technology, tools, processes and procedures, as well as organization issues.

    • Advanced knowledge of the business, its standards, applications, systems, networks, innovation, design activities, best practices.

    • Ability to work independently under minimal guidance.

    • Subject matter expertise and ability to share with less experienced colleagues.

    • Capacity and confidence to solve complex problems and take a new perspective on existing solutions.

    • Must be eligible for employment under regulatory standards applicable to the position.

    • Experience with Identity Access Management tools and technology (including Multi-factor authentication) as it relates to design, implementation, concepts, practices, and administration
    o Tools (such as): Active Directory / Azure AD, CyberArk, Sailpoint, Pingfed, etc
    o Technology (such as): LDAP / LDAPS / Active Directory / Azure AD administration and concepts, Single Signon (eg: SAML OAuth)
    • Experience with solution, policy and architecture design along with experience implementing and supporting endpoint security tools, particularly EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response), FIM (File integrity monitoring), ASG (Application safeguarding) and similar
    o Tools (such as): Crowdstrike, Microsoft Defender, Symantec Datacentre Security, Other AV / EDR tools
    • Demonstrated operational proficiency and experience, particularly with OS administration and automation of tasks in Windows and Linux environments through scripts (Python, Powershell, bash, etc)
    • Experience, and sound knowledge of design activities used to secure systems and networks
    • Proficient in troubleshooting application issues
    • Customer Service in an IT context which includes communications both to technical and non-technical teams and individuals
    • A strong desire to work and learn independently, and able to contribute in a team environment
    • Good to have:
    o Familiarity with operating or developing in Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Compute Platform,
    o Software development experience and knowledge
