    Position summary

By maintaining high-quality data and implementing standardized data management practices, we can drive innovation, improve operational efficiency, and better serve our customers while minimizing risks.

    The Regulatory Delivery and Enterprise Data Management Office (EDMO) team establishes the data management standards and capabilities for all of TD, designs and implements data management tooling capabilities, monitors and reports on the adoption and consistent implementation of data management across TD Business Segments and Corporate Functions to ensure compliance to evolving regulations.

    We are looking for someone to oversee, guide and influence others as one of TD's top Technology Delivery experts. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of technology solutions and services, which are aligned by a broad suite of Products, Platforms and Shared Capabilities. You will also lead the future direction of development and design to be used across complex systems and businesses for a technology-enabled regulatory initiative with enterprise-wide impact.

    • End-to-end leadership of product solution to execution, defining future direction of development on strategic projects including new or emerging technology for the business.

    • Working with partners across the enterprise and apply deep understanding of relevant business needs to identify and leverage synergies across the various areas and projects

    • Driving the technology delivery aspects of product teams related to development, execution and delivery of end-to-end technology solutions or services within a Platform, Product, or Program/Project

    • Advance development and design practices for multiple businesses or enterprise level.

    • Facilitating and developing solutions, total cost estimates, and deliverables and providing expertise and strategic counsel to enable the most optimal technology solution

    • Champion technical thought leadership and coach others, guide senior management on large complex, transformational or cross-business strategic initiatives.

    • Developing, brokering, and delivering end-to-end services to business partners and present recommendations / integrated solutions where appropriate

    • Maintain knowledge proficiency in system development methodologies, key business initiatives and issues, IT implications for systems or technologies and their impact on business solutions and data.

    • Acts as the primary point of engagement for overall planning and partner management discussions with business leaders and technology partners and is involved in demand intake, capacity forecasting, project/platform lifecycle management, technology delivery, and service delivery relationships

    Job Requirements :

    What can you bring to TD? Share your credentials, but your relevant experience and knowledge can be just as likely to get our attention. It helps if you have:

    • Undergraduate Degree in Business/Commerce or a Technical Discipline (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science)

    • Graduate Degree preferred

    • 10+ years relevant experience with Agile delivery experience preferred

    • Proven experience in driving large technology program/project delivery with enterprise impact and achieving target-state through a roadmap of investments that drive business outcomes.

    • Proven experience managing budgets over 5 Million annually for multi-year regulatory programs.

    • Advanced skill in applying technology expertise and leading development of end-to-end technical solutions at the Product Family or Platform level, and leading a team of delivery professionals

    • Advanced skill in managing partners and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet strategic direction, business and technical requirements, budget, scalability and architectural goals with risks and impacts considered

    • Expertise and knowledge of specific domain or broad range of experience in technology domains, including understanding of in-house and third-party architecture integration

    • Highly specialized knowledge of applications, systems, networks, innovation, design activities, best practices, business / organization, bank standards, regulatory and compliance standards

    • Knowledge and experience of the financial services industry, banking and insurance products, corporate finance, risk management, statutory reporting practices, and regulatory compliance practices and the data that supports it

    • Knowledge of privacy regulations/legislation and their application to businesses and data, including General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), Quebec Law 25, etc.

    • Knowledge of configuration, integration, and implementation of solutions using Privacy by Design approaches to systems engineering

    • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Databricks, integration, and experience implementing cloud technology solutions in industries with high regulatory oversight.

    • Ability to quickly gain understanding of the Data Risk, Privacy, and Legal control functions and TD as a whole with expertise and specialized knowledge of data concepts and related technology and tools

    • Ability to work in close partnership with technology leads in Architecture, Infrastructure, Information Security, Data Services, and third-party, external vendor leadership teams in assessing development and solutions designs to meet TD's transformational needs
