The Fixed Income Global Portfolio Strategist will focus on supporting CG's Portfolio Strategy Management initiative. The role partners with PMs to construct portfolios aimed at delivering specific client requirements based on our current strategy offerings. Additionally, they will contribute to the investment process through idea generation in global bond strategies. The ideal person will have experience in FI portfolio construction as well as strong market, sector, and technical skills. They will combine independent thinking with a collaborative instinct and working style. This will include drawing on strong analytical, communication, and influencing skills to enhance the overall process and investment dynamic.

Your responsibilities will include:
Create models/thesis/insights to help shape top-down strategy and individual portfolio construction
Develop and regularly share market views
Influence others by demonstrating strong investment ability and communicating and engaging with colleagues

• You have 5+ years of experience in the investment management industry, ideally in an investment strategist or replication role; will have experience working with fixed-income investments.
• You demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of index or active investment strategy replication, securities and investment business, and Capital's investment process.
• You have strong academic credentials including an advanced degree in a quantitative field.
• You demonstrate intellectual curiosity and analytical skills in areas of high complexity, ambiguity and diversity.
• You demonstrate ability to collaborate and develop/maintain working relationships inside and outside the organization to enable effective completion of business objectives.
• You demonstrate sound judgment in resolving complex issues in a practical manner.
• You demonstrate effective and influential written and oral communication skills with a diverse group of associates and senior business leaders.
