Global Client Services is part of Capital Group's Investment Operations organization, with offices in Los Angeles, London, Singapore, and Tokyo. GIC services Capital's institutional clients, prospects and intermediaries, and supports institutional marketing, sales and distribution teams. The mission of Global Client Services is to deliver a superior client experience and enable the distribution of Capital Group's investment services globally.
As an Investment Information Writer on the RFI/RFP team in Los Angeles, you will work both independently and as part of a team to complete written requests for information, due diligence, and new business proposals. Writers collaborate with peers, sales teams, investment specialists and other business partners to gather information and provide written responses covering Capital Group and Capital Group strategies/funds to a broad institutional audience. They also serve as a general resource to the business for RFI/RFP related information and may participate in content development initiatives, process improvements, and project related work.
Overtime and schedule flexibility may be required.
Responsibilities:
Researches and gathers information needed to fulfill RFIs, RFPs and due diligence requests.
Collaborates with senior associates on more complex requests
Demonstrates a working knowledge of investment strategies and general portfolio statistics and ability to analyze data and information
Independently manage workload in a high volume, deadline driven environment
Participate in projects and initiatives as requested by leadership
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree
4+ years of experience in the investment management or financial services industry with a working knowledge of investments and general portfolio statistics
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a high level of intellectual curiosity
Excellent communication skills including strong written, verbal and listening skills
Demonstrated success in managing competing priorities
Skilled at fostering positive working relationships and ability to collaborate with others
Ability to problem solve, balance stakeholder needs, and navigate through ambiguity
MS Office, PMAPS or other proposal software preferred
New York Base Salary Range: $84,826-$135,722
Los Angeles Base Salary Range: $80,020-$128,032
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
