    Position summary

    "I can succeed as a Senior Architecture Practice Management Associate at Capital Group."

    As a Senior Architecture Practice Management Associate, you will play a significant role in advancing the mission of the Architecture Practice Management (APM) team. The mission of the Architecture Practice Management (APM) team is to improve the effectiveness of the practice and discipline of the architecture function. APM does this by helping mature the architecture organization and community with tools and processes that apply to the practice and discipline of architecture. You will work to help APM balance standardization and local agility by identifying and standardizing strategic areas where consistency is necessary while allowing flexibility and providing support in core and emergent areas. Additionally, you will be key in enabling APM's responsibility for gathering key metrics that measure the effectiveness of the architecture organization. Overall, the critical outcome of APM is to amplify architecture's ability to be effective and efficient in delivering value to Capital Group. You will contribute to meeting this outcome by doing the following:

    • You will work closely with Architecture & ITG teams to identify needs and develop solutions related to architecture practices

    • Once identified, you will independently plan and execute projects to implement and measure solutions

    • You will recommend and own the plans to ensure timely delivery, communication and change management functions to stakeholders for all new practices and solutions

    • You will be an advocate for APM and the value of APM to Architecture

    • You will collect and evaluates operational, service, and performance data to identify trends and provide analysis of data for KPIs (key performance indicator) and other regular reporting

    • You will help develop and implement KPIs for Architecture Governance and our embedded architects program

    • You will create and deliver ITG-wide communications related to Enterprise Debt, Architecture Governance, and other key topics

    • You will partner with other architecture teams to drive communication and use of architecture products including Vitals, EmTech Alpha and DevEx platforms

    • You will develop, deliver, track progress and measure effectiveness of learning pathways and bootcamps for architects

    • You will strategize and work with teams to integrate Tech Trends research and delivery with the architecture practice

    • You will align the ITG roadmap process with Capital Group's new 3-year strategic roadmapping process

    • You will create and deliver a rotational program bringing new talent into Architecture

    • You will help in defining and executing OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) for the architecture practice management team on a yearly basis

    • You have a bachelor's degree in business, economics, computer science, engineering, or a related technical field

    • You have broad knowledge of ITG & Capital Group's structure and operations

    • You have knowledge of or ability to quickly learn data analysis tools and practices. Experience with SQL, JQL and PowerBI are highly desirable

    • You have strong communication & influencing skills

    • You have experience applying product management / product mindset to teams

    • You have experience with Confluence & Jira from a user or administrative perspective

    • You have experience managing small project / initiatives from ideation through to execution, measurement and optimization (what's next)

    Southern California Base Salary Range: $111,404-$178,246

    In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
