You are responsible and accountable for ensuring the level 1 (L1) technical help desk and level 2 operations support teams meet their service level agreements (SLAs). The Senior DevOps Engineer works with everyone in the organization to plan and create value. In this role, you will mentor less-experienced team members. The Senior DevOps Engineer applies principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, mathematical analysis, and systems.

You have a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience
You have 10+ years of experience in a DevOps and/or software engineering position
You have full competence in software engineering techniques (i.e., an engineering/product development mindset)
You are proficient in Python (requirement), have PowerShell scripting experience, and/or an equivalent language (e.g., UNIX shell)
You have .NET/C#, C++, or Java and/or software engineering experience
You have experience developing, enhancing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines that automate software development lifecycles (SDLCs)
You have AWS certifications
You have GitOps experience using Git-based version control tools (e.g., GitHub, Bitbucket)
You take pride and have experience automating yourself out of jobs
You leverage generative AI (e.g., GitHub Copilot)
Southern California Base Salary Range: $148,045-$236,872
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
