As a Senior Solutions Engineer (level IV), you'll design, build, maintain and refine high performance, scalable systems through your expertise in development, infrastructure and product discussions from conception to completion. You drive recommendations on how to imagine, develop and launch solutions with transformative power.
As part of the IDEA (Integration, Data Engineering, and Automation) team you will help enable process integration and business process management (BPM) across the enterprise and help shape our roadmaps and priorities. You will lead and mentor a team in delivering Appian applications and help build a strong development community across CG.

You have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related technical field, or have equivalent work experience
You have at least 7 years of Technical experience including software engineering.
Must have expertise in: Appian Application and Platform (or another comparable BPM technologies)
Competency in Java, Python, REST API services, ETL, Mule, and AWS are a plus, though not required.
You're thoughtful in your approach to software engineering best practices and are able to communicate your perspective to others.
Your agile mindset and passion for designing product user experiences enable rapid business growth
You have a technical expertise, a strong business acumen, leadership skills and proven experience providing knowledge transfer
You have technology vendor management experience. You've provided technology direction, guidance and oversight of vendor solutions and integrations
Southern California Base Salary Range: $140,995-$225,592
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
