Solutions Engineer

As a Solutions Engineer on the Digital Team within the Retirement Plan Services IT Organization, you'll propose design solutions, develop features, and roll out high performing, resilient systems developed in AWS cloud. You make recommendations on how to envision, develop and launch solutions with second to none user experiences and transformative power.

Leveraging, sharing, and learning the latest industry leading digital and cloud offerings, you will

address business challenges at their core with the ability to influence and collaborate with colleagues across the company. You will develop products, services and experiences that disrupt markets, generate value and the ability to positively impact millions of lives.

• You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical degree

• You have at least 5 years of software engineering experience with expertise in React.js and its core principles, experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux), HTML/CSS, Typescript, and REST API services. Full Stack (Java, Springboot, Data Modeling, SQL) is a definite advantage

• Your knowledge base includes best practices relating to APIs (OAuth, SSL, CORS, JWT, etc.) and producing visually appealing designs focused on usability, utility, UX, cross-browser compatibility, and SEO

• You have experience with DevOps practices using AWS Cloud Formation, AWS Code Build, and AWS Code Pipeline or similar cloud offering. In addition, you have practical knowledge of other AWS services (e.g., AWS Fargate, ELB, Aurora/ Postgres, etc.)

• You have contributed to solution delivery through SDLC activities (analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, support, etc.) for multiple features within a product and/or full scope of the product

• You have a solid understanding of software engineering best practices such as unit testing, code reviews and design documentation

• Your agile mindset and passion for creating product user experiences enable rapid business growth

• You're recognized for building strong stakeholder relationships and exceeding client delivery expectations

• You demonstrate innovation by challenging current thinking and bringing on new ideas
