As a Senior Software Engineer on the Back-Office team, you will play a critical role in developing and supporting investment systems. You will work as part of a team responsible for new application development, improving existing applications and integrating third-party technology to meet the changing needs of our business. Your scope will include designing and building modern, cloud-native applications leveraging Kubernetes and the AWS platform. We'll leverage your experience to architect for scalability, resiliency and ease of change. Using tools like Java or C#, relational data platforms such as SQL Server, AWS services (S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.), and Kubernetes, you'll help drive technical designs that align with technology standards. You will also influence and provide thought leadership in all phases of the software development life cycle including designing, coding, testing, deploying, and providing production support of application solutions.

You have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or other technical field; or have equivalent work experience
You have 5+ years of work experience with software development
You have a fundamental knowledge of application design principles, systems analysis and development
You have understanding of the software development life cycle, experience with Agile methodologies
Your agile mindset and passion for designing product user experiences enable rapid business growth
You have a foundation of technical ability, business acumen and leadership skills
You have a passion for technology, solving challenging problems, and continuous improvement
You've had previous experience:
5+ years of hands-on experience in C#/.NET
Designing and developing microservices
With Kubernetes (OpenShift)
Working with cloud providers (AWS preferred)
Working with modern frontend frameworks (Angular preferred)
Writing and tuning complex SQL queries (ex. MS SQL server, Postgres)
Southern California Base Salary Range: $111,404-$178,246
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
