This year, we have internship opportunities in the following business teams:

• Sales

• Our Singapore sales team comprises of Financial Intermediary (FIT) and Institutional (IB) sales. FIT clients include private banks, retail banks, insurers, digital platforms, and financial advisors; this channel includes more global collaboration to service Global Financial Institutions that is present in the US, Europe, and Asia, marketing & brand considerations, and is more complex due to the presence of the 'intermediary' between Capital Group and end investors. IB clients include sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, central banks and endowments. These clients are more sophisticated and are typically the ultimate end investor, so the engagements are more centered around investment considerations. Interns will have exposure to both sides of the business. Both sales teams work closely with our marketing, investment product services, and client servicing teams.

• Equity Trading

• The Centralised Equity Trading Desk gathers market intelligence, pricing information, and disseminate news to our Capital Group investment professionals. The selected intern will have an opportunity to shadow the traders as they follow day to day market activities, order flows, and in turn facilitate the execution of client portfolio trades.

• Global Risk Management

• The Asia Risk Management team is responsible for leading the risk management program in Asia comprising of enterprise and operational risk management, and managing the regional crisis management & business continuity program. Key focuses of the team includes independent oversight of business areas risk management framework, risk identification and risk monitoring (business consultation, maintaining risk registers), coordination of operational event resolution and exception management, responding to external queries, reacting to relevant regulatory/ Industry change, and risk governance through Committee and Board reporting.

• Business Management

• The Business Management team sits within the Europe Asia Client Group (EACG), and is a multi-disciplinary, multi-geographical team that works on a wide variety of initiatives to support EACG functional teams and support business growth. The team is responsible for engaging, influencing, and supporting senior leaders in the organization on business management initiatives. Day-to-day focus includes business strategy and planning, business case creation, dealing with client-related issues, and working with multiple functions at Capital to ensure the effective execution of the business plan.

• Fundamental Research Group

• The Fundamental Research Group is a global team of Equity and Fixed Income Research Associates who deliver high quality, impactful research support and insights to the Investment Group. FRG works closely and collaborate with Investment Professionals and peers to deliver valuable insights, research data, and analysis that will be used to help inform investment decisions. The selected intern will work on projects and tasks to strengthen your financial acumen, technical capabilities, and research fundamentals.

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
