    Position summary

    • Design, build, test and refine generative AI solutions; including prompts, agents and other applications across diverse business use cases.

    • Conduct experiments and test-and-learn initiatives to validate hypotheses and measure outcomes.

    • Perform current-state analysis and recommend future-state designs to optimize processes and deliver improved outcomes.

    • Partner with data science, technology, and operations teams to co-design production-ready AI solutions.

    • Prepare and deliver presentations, training, and documentation to support AI adoption across the organization.

    • Facilitate stakeholder meetings and ensure effective communication throughout project lifecycles.

    What We're Looking For

    • Hands-on experience with prompt engineering, AI model development, and generative AI tools.

    • Proven ability to design and deploy AI-driven solutions in a business context.

    • Strong consulting skills with the ability to translate business needs into AI-enabled solutions.

    • Proficiency in data analysis, hypothesis testing, and solution optimization.

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to influence and educate at all organizational levels.

    • Strong relationship management and collaboration skills.

    • Self-starter with exceptional time management and prioritization abilities.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.

    • 3+ years of experience in process management, change management, or field leadership in P&C or Group Benefits.

    • Demonstrated experience in process improvement and optimization.

    This role will have a Hybrid work schedule, with the expectation of working in an office (Columbus, OH, Chicago, IL, Hartford, CT or Charlotte, NC) 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday).

    Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. The company will not support the STEM OPT I-983 Training Plan endorsement for this position.

    Compensation

    The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
    $85,200 - $127,800
