The Group Benefits HR Technology Relationship Executive, is a key role within the group benefits sales organization. This individual will partner with our account executives and serve as the external market facing subject matter expert with prospective and in-force clients, producers, resellers, independent third party builders, benefit administration vendors, & HCM’s on a wide variety of complex carrier/vendor integration solutions.
This individual will support the West region sales offices with locations in Dallas, Denver, San Diego, and San Francisco. This individual will also own relationships with key benefit administration &/or HCM’s vendors, key brokers and/or broker specific HR technology consultants in the West region for the entire suite of GB products & services for regional (500+) and national accounts.
This role is 100% virtual Candidates residing within the central / western zone of the US preferred due to territory / travel requirements.
This role has a fixed base salary of $120,000 plus a lucrative bonus plan.
Responsibilities:
Works with our regional sales directors in the West region to drive HR integration success in their individual offices supporting regional account executives HR technology conversations with brokers/prospects in their region
Actively participates in pre RFP technology specific prospect/broker conversations in person or virtual, as required, with complex RA/NA opportunities
Manages key benefit administrators with a focus on go to market planning and strategy to drive sales success with our contracted partners which also includes creating business plans for vendors sales teams, tracking and pipelining, continuous fostering of relationships
Plans, attends and participates in various HR tech conferences, partnership stewardship meetings, regional broker/office level meetings
Acts as a subject matter expert for inter-department training needs
Helps plan and deliver quarterly technology, training, market landscape updates
Supports complex Workday sales opportunities
Creates case studies of success for inclusion
Qualifications:
High school diploma required; a BA/BS degree is strongly desired
A minimum of 5 years of industry experience preferably in a sales role preferably with carrier and/or benefits administration platform
Must hold a life and health license or be willing to get licensed within first 60 days (life and health license in all 50 states)
Must have the knowledge and skill to handle complex HR technology integration conversations with brokers, prospects, and clients; prefer candidates with finalist experience in the national account space
Must have experience in relationship management and development
Must have a working knowledge of Workday integrations
Strong consultative skills. Must work at an advanced skill level when providing consultation and support
This role will require frequent overnight travel of up to 50% across the United States
Candidates residing in the Central / Western region of the country strongly desired
Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
$120,000 - $120,000
