Company News Reporter, Chinese Language

Reuters is looking for a high-energy, driven reporter to join a team covering Chinese companies in Chinese language. This is a great opportunity for talented and ambitious journalists to make an impact in a fiercely competitive market with the world's largest independent multimedia news organization.

The successful candidate would publish news about Chinese companies in real time, from company announcements on new plans and strategies to share price movements. The company news reporters would work in a fast-paced, exciting environment to get the most important news about Chinese companies out to readers as quickly as possible.

The role needs to work on late shift, normally on the shift of 12-8pm or 2-10pm.

About the Role

As Company News Reporter, you will:

•             Send real-time headlines from company announcements

•             Write breaking news stories on major developments of top companies

•             Report on stock market movements

•             Learn best practices on news reporting and utilizing technology to produce news at speed
