What You’ll Do: As an Enterprise Data Architect, you will play a key role in the development of our data ecosystem. The Enterprise Data Architect is charged with developing a comprehensive enterprise data strategy through partnerships with technology, business and analysis. You will be responsible for understanding and analyzing the current state of data, its flows and uses across deployed business applications, external data service providers, and analytics systems, and leveraging that knowledge to build towards a future state that is modeled for consistency, quality, comprehensiveness, secure and robust delivery. This role will work closely with our engineering team to design, develop and mature our enterprise data platform while ensuring adherence to industry-leading data architectural standards, governance principles and best practices.

You’re a good fit for the role of Enterprise Data Architect if you have/are:
Qualifications
5+ years hands on experience as a Data Architect, preferably in a large data platform environment.
Hands-on, deep experience in all aspects of data architecture and data modeling, metadata management and architectural governance at the enterprise level.
Experience with full end to end data strategy design, development, and implementation
Experience mastering data, building canonical data models, developing architectural designs, and implementing Master Data Management solutions
Able to take a big-picture, long-term view on evolving data architecture and data practices, while hands-on contributing in day-to-day tactical development and tasks.
Proficient in modeling techniques (Data Flow, ER Diagram, Conceptual, Logical, Physical, and Metamodels) and usage of modeling tools (e.g., ERWIN, ER/Studio, InfoSphere, PowerDesigner)
Experience with cloud databases and data warehouse solutions (Snowflake a plus)
Expert level skills in data profiling, data analysis and SQL
Experience in data security / privacy / protection, and data life-cycle management
Ability to work independently while navigating ambiguity.
Ability to work cross-functionally and with geographically distributed teams
BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Information Science, Data Analytics, or related technical field
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. national security clearance.
