Position summary

Do you understand the benefits of cloud technology and what large global firms are looking to achieve from a SaaS financial management system?  Can you effectively present those advantages to a varied of audience members?  Are you always interested in learning new tech and are excited to share their advantages? As an Enterprise Sales Engineer you will report to the VP, Global Sales, Business of Law and join a global sales team working with legal professional services firms around the world who will be transforming their business to cloud.  In this role you will be instrumental in demonstrating the unique value and advantage of our solutions to those customers.  You will be responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process.  This is a highly strategic and visible role both internal and external.

As a the Enterprise Sales Engineer - Cloud Expert you will:

  • Be a key technical resource in the sales process presenting our cloud technology advantages to new and existing customers

  • Be the technical advisor for our account teams, prospects, and clients

  • Develop compelling presentations to demonstrate our technology platform advantages

  • Lead discussions and presentation regarding the advantages of our software

  • Be able to effectively address cloud security questions and concerns from our customers

  • Be the key technical cloud resource for sales presentations

  • Assist the sales team and conveying to our customers our platforms strengths

  • Develop, present, and demonstrate solutions to prospective customers based on detailed customer requirements to highlight broad solution areas with emphasis on key differentiators to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Respond to RFI’s, RFP’s, and other customer requirements requests

  • Work with the sales team to achieve revenue targets

  • Assist the team with core business and account strategies

  • Liaise with product, marketing and technical leads on our application and cloud solutions

About You

You're a fit for the Senior Sales Engineer if you:

  • Can effectively present advantages of cloud technology in a sales presentation and have experience with Elite products or Cloud ERP is preferred

  • Have been a key sales team member focused on applications in the cloud and/or have been through an on-premise to cloud migration

  • Are well versed in cloud technology including ISO requirements, security, auditing, integrations, and APIs.

  • Are a technical sales professional who has successfully sold into large global businesses

  • Can easily create compelling presentation material and present them effectively.

  • Are fearless and flexible

  • Have the genuine ability to put yourself in our customers’ shoes and operate from a place of empathy

  • Keep up to date in latest technology, know Power Objects and are Microsoft Azure certified

  • Have a degree in Engineering or related technical field

  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills

  • Proven customer service orientation skills

  • Well-developed and excellent relationship building and influencing skills at all levels

  • Self-starter, with a high level of self-direction, motivation, and energy

  • Advanced PC skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Ability to travel approximately 40-50%+ of the time
