Position summary

We are currently seeking a self-motivated Functional Senior Implementation Consultant with strong ERP implementation and project management experience.  Candidate will work closely with technical project teams and partner teams to implement enterprise tax automation software with customer's ERP systems or enterprise financial software.

About the Role

In this opportunity as Senior Implementation Consultant, you will:

  • Troubleshoot software and implementation issues, provide workaround and functional implementation guidance.
  • Consult and provide guidance with best process, for successful implementations (for our tax automation software)
  • Perform process requirements (OTC, PTP) and analysis workshops with clients to define business, process, functional requirements, and data element requirements.
  • Partner with TRTA project resources, Partner project teams and Client project team members.
  • Manage project scope alignment, budget allocations, and build project documentation for configuration approvals, production cutover, and knowledge transfer; manage change documentation
  • Support customers in defining use cases (concerning Indirect Tax)
  • Performs technical or functional roles on projects led by a Thomson Reuters Project Manager, Partner Firm, and/or Customer.
  • Engage as project lead/contributor on varying complexity of projects pertaining to the implementation of our proprietary Indirect Tax products.

About You

You’re a fit for the role of Senior Implementation Consultant if your background includes:

  • Background as an Analyst in enterprise software products/services/applications
  • Background in Indirect Tax, Indirect Tax Research, Professional Services Consulting
  • Must possess strong cross team/group/org collaboration skills; ability to foresee and analyze project risks, develop risk management plan and mitigate subsequent issues
  • Experience as Project implementation Partners (KPMG, Deloitte, EY, PWC, Accenture, Ryan Consulting, etc.) is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • 4-6 years of Indirect Tax experience, professional services software implementation, or consulting experience
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, computer science.
  • Functional or Technical implementation experience with a minimum of one Indirect Tax product, i.e., Determination, S&U Compliance, Certificate Manager

  • Proprietary ONESOURCE tax software
  • Implementation engagement strategy
