The strategic ambition of the newly created Data & Analytics (D&A) function is to build, embed and mature a data-driven culture across the entire company resulting in a world-class Data & Analytics company.
The AI/ML &BI Platforms Team has been established to create, operate, and run enterprise AI/ML & BI Platforms that will facilitate the time to market for analytics and data science teams to run experiments, train models and generate insights. Core to the team’s principles will be the implementation of data and model governance standards and operationalization of the model release process.
The Lead A****I Platform Engineer will facilitate the build and operation of the centralized AI platform for AI/MLdevelopment across Thomson Reuters business operations. The Lead AI Platform Engineer is expected to be an expert in AI tooling and setting up and streamlining AI workflows and managing a core team of software and platform engineers delivering feature enhancements and operating support.
About the Role
In this opportunity you will:
Build and evolve the AI Platform including being able to assess the as-is architecture with the to-be state
Participate in all aspects of the development lifecycle: Ideation, Design, Build, Test and Operate
Utilize a variety of software and tools both commercial and open source
Enable self-service tooling for data science teams to create and maintain models
Create and deploy tooling for model monitoring and model governance
Design and operate a model ops framework
Ensure consistency with cloud architectural guiding principles
Continuously challenge and evolve the existing platform capabilities and keep up to date with new offerings
About You
You’re a fit for the role of Lead AI Platform Engineer if you meet all or most of these criteria:
7 years in Software Engineering
Hands-on experience working with public cloud technology (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience with service-oriented and/or microservices architecture
Experience with AWS sagemaker or similar cloud AI capabilities
Proficiency in modern programming languages like Node.js, C#, Python, Java
Experience with relational and/or non-relational databases
Experience with Agile development and delivery – Scrum, Lean, XP, Kanban methodologies.
Hands on DevOps experience – CI/CD in AWS, Git, Monitoring, Log Analytics
