We are looking for a Lead Site Reliability Engineer to join the HighQ Global Site Reliability team. We provide innovative social software to some of the world's leading law firms, investment banks and corporations. We're leaders in legal digital transformation across the globe. As a Lead SRE Engineer, you will be part of the core Platform Operations function responsible for the day-to-day security, delivery and availability of our HighQ platform.
About the Role
In this opportunity, you will:
Be a Team Leader: Coach and mentor current and future leaders within the team, identify individual training needs proactively, conduct performance reviews and maintain a healthy team culture.
Be a Project Leader: Train/coach team members in project delivery. Strategically plan, design and implement monitoring to deliver value to customers, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Be a Technical Leader: Implement best practices as a knowledge expert in SRE methodology.
Be an efficient Stakeholder Manager: Collaborate and engage with external and internal stakeholders such as business teams, product owners, project management, and support teams to define priority issues and refine processes. Act as point of contact in resolving stakeholder issues.
Be a Decision Maker: Make quick and effective data-driven decisions with good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Focus on Continuous improvement and technical standards – Drive improvements in productivity, monitoring, tooling and set industry best practices.
Participating in the team shift / on-call rotation, supporting our maintenance, scheduled work, support and release/deployment requirements.
About You
You're a fit for the role if you:
Have an overall professional experience of 8+ years, with 4+ in Site Reliability Engineering.
Have experience working with three-tier web applications, running in public and/or private cloud.
Have experience using Apache Tomcat, scaling database technologies like MS SQL
Have experience with Cloud monitoring tools like Datadog
Have expertise in driving technology strategy and execution while establishing strategic partnerships and delivering against product requirements
Are an effective communicator with relevant experience leading and influencing others, demonstrating an ability to partner effectively with internal and external partners
Possess strong knowledge of current technologies, with proficiency in the areas of automation, DevOps, cloud-native architecture, and system monitoring

Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated cloud software engineer to build and deploy the next generation of modern cloud native software applications and services for Thomson Reuters.
We are looking for an individual who will take ownership of the software throughout the entire development process. They will be working with several development teams building, enhancing, and expanding our Legal Financial &
Practice Management product suite. These products are mostly written in .NET and .NET Core with web-based front ends and hosted in Azure Cloud.
The ideal candidate possesses strong analytic problem-solving skills as well as excellent written and oral communication skills. They must be self-motivated and deliver on commitments within the established timelines.
