Lead Site Reliability Engineer
Job Description
We are looking for a Lead SRE Engineer to join our Global Site Reliability team. We provide innovative social software to some of the world's leading law firms, investment banks and corporations. We’re leaders in legal digital transformation around the world.

As a Lead SRE Engineer you will be part of the core Platform Operations function that is responsible for the day to day security, delivery and availability of our HighQ platform.
You will also be expected to participate in the team shift / on-call rota which supports our maintenance, scheduled work, support and release/deployment requirements.
About the Role
In this opportunity, you will:
Be a People Leader: Build and manage an SRE Team with varied skills and experience level. Coach and mentor current and future leaders within the team, be responsible to proactively identify individual training needs, conduct performance reviews and maintain a healthy team culture
Be a Project Leader: Train/coach team members in project delivery. Strategically plan, design and implement monitoring to deliver value to customers, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Be a Technical Leader: Implement best practices as knowledge expert in SRE methodology.
B****e an efficient Stakeholder Manager: Collaborate and engage with external and internal stakeholders such as business teams, product owners, project management and support team in defining priority issues and refining processes. Act as point of contact in resolving stakeholder issues.
B****e a Decision Maker: Make quick and effective date driven decisions, with good problem solving and analytical skills.
Focus on Continuous improvement and technical standards – Drive improvements in productivity, monitoring, tooling and set industry best practices.
About You
You’re a fit for the role of Team Lead, if you:
Have experience working with three-tier web applications, running in public and/or private cloud.
Have experience using Apache Tomcat, scaling database technologies like MS SQL.
Have experience with DataDog Cloud Monitoring tool.
Project and Release Management experience.
Have expertise in driving technology strategy and execution, while establishing strategic partnerships and delivering against product requirements.
Are an effective communicator with relevant experience leading and influencing others, demonstrating an ability to partner effectively with internal and external partners.
Possess strong knowledge of current technologies, with proficiency in the areas of automation, DevOps, cloud native architecture, and system monitoring.
