The UX Team focuses on a large portfolio of cloud-based, data-driven applications for working professionals in Legal, Tax, and Global Trade markets and gross over $5B annually. About the Role
As a Manager of UX Research Operations, you will define, establish, and maintain global UX research operations at Thomson Reuters. Your knowledge of UX research and passion for implementing, operationalizing, and scaling programs will ensure our researchers can do their most impactful work. You love to drive change in an agile way, through releasing ‘minimum loveable processes’ that we can quickly launch, learn from, and adapt. You are happiest when you can turn complex programs into simple, light-weight processes that researchers are excited to adopt.
You will manage a team of program managers and coordinators and will report to the UX Research Strategy and Infrastructure leader. You will work closely with UX Research leadership, researchers, and cross-functional teams to implement programs and processes.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Establish the Research Ops playbook.
Manage a world-class participant recruiting team to support research studies globally.
Put into operation a newly implemented research repository, the home for research insights.
Put into operation and scale strategic frameworks that elevate the impact our research insights have on product and design decisions.
Identify needs and drive changes regarding process, tools, documentation, and asset management.
Manage the UXR Team’s toolset, overseeing procurement, renewals, etc.
About You
You are a fit for the role of Manager, UX Research Operations if you have:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience in UX research programs and operations or a related field.
Experience in driving transformational efforts across large-scale organizations.
Experience in managing highly successful and engaged teams.
Knowledge and experience in UX research, tools, and processes.
Ability to effectively work across teams to define, manage, and prioritize work.
Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
