Position summary

As a Marketing Advisor - FindLaw, you will work closely with our sales and client management teams within our Small Law customer segment to properly assess the business growth opportunities for our established Small Law customer base and prospects.

You will partner primarily with our Sales teams to identify and showcase an opportunity (or a business need) and articulate how our products and solutions are a valued means to solve for those opportunities. Ensuring clear expectations within a product line that has a wide range of variables that influence outcome.

This role plays a key part in helping our teams drive and exceed revenue growth and retention targets. You will assist by leveraging your extensive knowledge and expertise in digital marketing and business development strategies. This role will be field based supporting customers and sales professionals that support customers within surrounding regions.
 

In this opportunity as a Marketing Advisor - FindLaw you will: 

  • Analyze marketing analytics (in-house or external), customer feedback and communicated objectives, as well as team member sentiment to properly articulate growth opportunity and FindLaw solution sets to help address that opportunity

  • Analyze potential prospects portfolios and develop proposals for clients, in partnership with sales team

  • Effectively communicate a data driven story to both internal team members and customers that helps address and meet their business goals and objectives.

  • Understand FindLaw product lines, performance expectations, their capabilities and value story.

  • Drive key performance indicators, ensuring consistent delivery of value and clearly articulate the return on investment to clients

  • Assess the work and requests coming in and communicate feedback to Sales and Client Management leadership team on where additional training opportunity exists to help advance competency of digital marketing concepts, leveraging internal tools to showcase value, and FindLaw product positioning.

  • Understand our revenue and retention goals and drive strategy decisions that help meet, exceed, and protect those goals while also deploying a recommendation that is in the best interest of the customer

  • Manage many priorities at once, assess which present the most need and properly manage your pipeline and days to meet most critical deadlines, sometimes within short notice.

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time to meet customers and field-based sales partners

About You

You may be a fit for the role if you have/are:

  • Bachelor’s degree and relatable course work or certification

  • 7+ years of Digital Marketing consulting experience, preferably in the legal vertical

  • 5+ years working directly with clients in a consultative role

  • Analytical experience and expertise with web analytics and technical SEO software (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Site Catalyst, and others)

  • Proven experience in the fields of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Paid Search (PPC + Social)

  • Proven ability to take initiative within a large organization to build strong, productive relationships, gain trust based on excellent communication and A+ interpersonal skills

  • Ability to communicate complex concepts in easy-to-understand terminology 

  • Experience planning, creating, and managing complex digital marketing campaigns

  • Demonstrated success in consulting with clients to understand/refine business objectives, and create/deploy an integrated, multichannel marketing campaign to address.

  • Prior sales, account management and/or marketing consultant experience with proven results

  • History of successfully managing a portfolio of highly demanding clients
