Position summary

Product Analyst, Thomson Reuters Court Management Solutions

Note: This position is fully remote.

The Thomson Reuters Court Management Solutions business offers a product suite of software solutions called C-Track.  C-Track is the leading enterprise product trusted by Trial and Appellate courts to improve the functionality of the Judiciary. By enabling courts to efficiently manage caseloads and improve collaboration across justice platforms, C-Track transforms courts into modern examples of efficiency and effectiveness.

With guidance from the Director of Product Development, the Product Analyst acts as a client facing resource assisting with the grooming of the C-Track Product Roadmap (including gathering product requirements and drafting corresponding new feature designs), supporting business development efforts such as RFP responses and product demonstrations, promoting awareness of available product functionality throughout the organization, and devising business process workflow solutions for clients.

About the Role

In this opportunity as Product Analyst, you will:

  • Consolidate and translate a diverse set of business requirements to functional design documents in preparation for software development.

  • Prepare mockups of proposed applications screens.

  • Facilitate business process discovery with clients and identify product gaps.

  • Draft responses to functional business requirements within client RFPs.

  • Configure and perform scripted product demonstrations for potential clients.

  • Coordinate with internal technology teams that architect, develop, and validate product solutions.

  • Be accountable for customer satisfaction within assigned programs/projects/activities.

  • Follow up to monitor satisfaction and respond to additional requests or problems quickly.

About You

You’re a fit for the role of Product Analyst if your background includes:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and/or 2+ years’ experience in requirements gathering and preparation of functional specifications or other technical documentation (experience with or understanding of judicial/court process a plus).

  • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, including executives, managers, and subject matter experts and to facilitate consensus within those groups.

  • Knowledge in key areas of responsibility (e.g., business process/business operations management, software UX, customer service, etc.).

  • Highly organized with strategic thinking, problem solving, troubleshooting, time management, risk management, escalation, and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work with virtual teams to successfully deliver projects or problem resolutions.

  • Understanding of software development lifecycle from initial planning through implementation to maintenance.

  • Responsible and motivated with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment in an independent manner.
